The scheming Dr. Regis Blackgaard continues his fevered pursuit of the Applesauce program and access to Whit’s End. This time, on a trip to Chicago, Whit and Connie get caught up in a dangerous mystery involving a stolen laptop, the Department of Defense, and some familiar (but not very friendly) faces.
Yes, I’m still alive, and with some great news!
Album 69 will be titled Best Kept Secrets and questions about Morrie will be answered. Here’s the description:
Long-held secrets are uncovered and major revelations are commonplace in Adventures in Odyssey Album 69: Best Kept Secrets. Listeners have long wondered about Morrie Rydell’s plans for the kids in Odyssey. All will be revealed and questions will be answered in these episodes. Elsewhere, Jules’s mother suddenly arrives in Odyssey to take Jules back to California, maybe for good. What will happen to Jules, her newfound musical career, and her friends back in Odyssey?
Ok, so this night I had a dream about an upcoming episode. As far as I can remember, the episode had nothing to do with Morrie, until the end where randomly Arthur Dent tells this unknown figure, “He’s back”. I think in my dream I knew it was the Chairman, so inside my dream I said Yes yes yes yes YES! Sadly I woke up and realized it’s a dream, but now I have an idea. If the Chairman is behind Morrie, then after a normal Odyssey episode and the credits, Chris could say, “Lets take a look another place in Odyssey” Then it will play a scene similar to the one my dream depicted. It will be completely unexpected and give it a whole new level of hype. I other news, don’t expect any posts over the weekend, because I’ll be busy with my Youth Group’s winter retreat, so yeah.
The episode Unsinkable had it’s second and final part released today! I haven’t listened to it yet, but here’s the art.

A few days ago, JaySmouse wrote a post about why Dr. Blackgaard is still alive. He also theorized that he is behind Novacom. Does this story have merit though?
he definitely could have (and probably did) survive the explosion to die or be arrested while working on some other plan to take over the world. Novacom maybe?

Well, the question is, does the Chairman have someone behind him. The two options in that case are Blackgaard, or some anonymous character. Even if he’s not alive, he could still be behind it. Maybe he planned it, but died, so the Chairman took over. We may never know
On the bonus scene on the Novacom saga compilation, the writers state that they had plans, or thoughts of making him behind it. They knew he was dead though, and cut him from the story.

I could not be happier!!! The first two episodes in album 68 will be Rydell episodes!!! I think it will be a two parter. I am so happy right now. Also, they will be episodes 898 and 899!!! That makes it more epic. I’d say it will be the ending to the first part of the Rydell saga.

We are in the midst of outlining and (very soon) scripting the next episodes in the Morrie saga. It’s fair enough to say that things will be coming to a sort of conclusion / sort of revelation in the next Morrie episode (or episodes) after “Further from the Truth.”
And then in reply to me asking if the next episode will be a multi parter.
Anything is possible – that is probable.
Ok, ok, I think my dreams are like being fulfilled right now. Probably a multi parter!?! And the first episode in album 68 is a Rydell episode!!!
Ok, so there is more news! A new episode to be released in 2021 is called Auto Response. It’s written by Phil Lollar. There are two characters known so far. Detective Polehaus and someone or thing called Dispatch. Unsinkable part two has a cover, but I can’t find one online. Ok, let’s talk about Auto Response. I think it may be a Rydell saga episode, but there’s not much proof. All the Rydell episodes have been written be Bob Hoose, so I don’t think so. I just thought of this, but maybe it’s another Twilife zone episode! That would be absolutely amazing!
