Rydell #10 Title and More…

Hey guys! I just got an email from Nathan himself, and he gives some information about te Rydell saga.

There will definitely be followup to them (revelations) – and I believe some of the followups will answer very legitimate questions that people have raised about the conclusion.

Nathan Hoobler

This is very exiting. I’m intrigued to see whats to come

The next episode in the story is titled “Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off” and it’s included in album 70. In fact, we just recorded the episode last week. It features Emily, Morrie, and Suzu – and a few other unexpected characters.

“Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off” huh? This is very interesting. I’ll get back to you guys once I have more theories.

The Rydell Saga, Unveiled

Introduction

Long have we wondered about the deeds of Morrie Rydell. Long have we waited to know his evil plans. What if I told you he doesn’t have any. What if I told you he was good… Please check out https://aioaudionews.com/2020/07/30/extra-what-if-morrie-was-right/ to hear Lee talk about this bombshell. It is a huge bombshell. We thought we knew everything about Morrie. We thought we got him all figured out, but we don’t. Everything we thought the past 4 years might be false. That’s what this post is about. This post is unraveling everything about Morrie in a new light. This subject is very interesting, so bear with me through my discussion about the illusive character known as Morrie…

Morrie is the good guy. We are the bad guys

Since 2016, fans have speculating on this new kid called Morrie Rydell. Our instincts screamed “Bad Guy” from the moment he came on the show. Why? His villain monologue from the Writers Ruse for instance. “I have to admit. They were good. It was a risk to show them a page of my playbook like that, but it was worth it to see if they could keep up with me. And, of course, they couldn’t. No one could. I shouldn’t of expected that anyone would be that good. Not in this town.” By that, isn’t it obvious that he’s the bad guy? On the official podcast, Phil stated that the plan for Morrie was changed. That could of happened after the Writers Ruse. I we go off of that basis, there is still a chance for him to be the good guy. Like Morrie said, he’s trying to bring out the good in people. Isn’t that good? Why would a bad guy do that? In the title I said we are the bad guys. Why? For judging Morrie. Emily judged him as well. We came to the conclusion that he was bad, and so did Emily. We came to that conclusion, maybe because the way he talks, or somethings he did, but what are his real intentions?

Morrie and Suzu aren’t perfect

By no means am I stating they are perfect. Suzu steals things, and Morrie hacked into a computer to help her! The escape room wasn’t the best idea, to make them think they were going to die! Whit knew about this all along, and he played along with it. He allowed the escape room to happen without telling Emily his concerns prior. Like Whit said in part 3, “I should of stepped in sooner”. But isn’t what Morrie and Suzu did good? Emily learned valuable lessons from the incidents. What I’m trying to say is that Morrie and Suzu aren’t perfect. They still need to be punished.

What is the proper punishment?

Like I just stated, they need to be punished, but what is the proper punishment? Jail? Or is it something more minor? Take the escape room for instance. Whit says, “You’ve trespassed, tamped with property, held people captive, and broken a few other laws I’m sure.” Does this mean jail? Ohio state law says the punishment for a felony is jail. But Whit knew about it the whole time! Like I said, he played along with it. So is jail the punishment? Non the less, they still need to be punished in some way.

What should Emily’s response be to this?

After all the events that have happened, Emily has been left kind of messed up. Should she be thanking Morrie and Suzu or not? On one hand, Morrie did hold Emily captive, but on the other hand, he did give Emily valuable lessons from it. He did bring out the good in people. In my opinion, Emily should forgive them, but they should know that some of the things they did were wrong.

Conclusion

What do you guys think about this? Please tell me if there is anything I missed, or any holes in what I said. I want more discussion on this subject, so if you could, reblog or share this post, and Lee’s. Please tell me your thoughts in the comments. I’ll leave you guys with this. You know the picture for album 69? It depicts Morrie taking off his “good” mask if you will, and showing his evil side. What if I told you this. Morrie is putting on the good mask. We have all misjudged Morrie Rydell. We all thought he was bad, but he wasn’t all along.

Poll

Lets say you can only choose ONE thing. Choose carefully, or the ones you didn’t choose will NOT be in the episode. I’m curious to see what you would choose, and what you would be fine with NOT in the episode

I’m too obsessed with Morrie.

Ok, so this night I had a dream about an upcoming episode. As far as I can remember, the episode had nothing to do with Morrie, until the end where randomly Arthur Dent tells this unknown figure, “He’s back”. I think in my dream I knew it was the Chairman, so inside my dream I said Yes yes yes yes YES! Sadly I woke up and realized it’s a dream, but now I have an idea. If the Chairman is behind Morrie, then after a normal Odyssey episode and the credits, Chris could say, “Lets take a look another place in Odyssey” Then it will play a scene similar to the one my dream depicted. It will be completely unexpected and give it a whole new level of hype. I other news, don’t expect any posts over the weekend, because I’ll be busy with my Youth Group’s winter retreat, so yeah.

Signed, probably half of my posts are about Morrie.

Signed Signed, I’ll try not to make my next one about him

Signed Signed Signed, It probably will be knowing me

Signed Signed Signed Signed, If it is, slap me.

The Man of the Chairs

Before we start this I just want to say, Odyssey, please please please please please don’t make the next Rydell episode another fake mystery. Also, spoiler warning for Further From the Truth! So, lets get down to the real enchilada of this post. I’ll be talking about the man of the chairs himself, the Chairman! For the past week or so, the Odyssey community (including myself) have been speculating that the Chairman is the mastermind behind Morrie Rydell, and today I’m going to be trying to prove this theory as much as I can. Lets start with stuff that points Morrie having a mastermind behind him in the first place. At the end of the episode The Secret of the Writers Ruse, Morrie is typing. It’s not clear to who, but two viable options are that he has a diary or journal, or that he’s typing to someone, and that someone may be the one behind him. Now lets talk about why the Chairman specifically would be the brains of this new arc. Lee from AIO Audio news said in a post that the Chairman’s plans with the Novacom saga was thwarted by Mr. Whittaker and kids, and that is who Morrie seems to be targeting. Now, lets talk about more evidence behind this theory. In Further From the Truth, Emily goes on an Imagination station adventure, because of a box that had Imagination Station technology. Marisa on AIO Audio news stated that it gave her vibes of the novabox and mind control, which are a big part in the Novacom saga. The phrase Ignoratio Elenchi, which if you don’t know is a phrase that Bob Hoose told me when I requested hints about Morrie. The interesting fact that ties this in with Novacom, is that it means Red Herring. That is an episode name in the Novacom saga, And plays a somewhat important role in the arc. Please tell me in the comments what you think about this theory, and if you have anymore evidence of it happening or not. Also, after I publish this post, I’ll be making a chat page on this blog, so after you finish this article, hop on over there to talk about anything and everything Odyssey!

Signed, I cant think of something to type here

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Spoiler warning for Further From the Truth! Don’t read it you don’t want to be spoiled!!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaat just happened. FFTT… What????? Garrett, if your reading this, you were partly right about the next one being a fake mystery. It wasn’t quite the same so, at least that makes it a bit better. When I started to listen to it, first I was disappointed that there wasn’t a parental warning. The episode was fine, and got even more hype when they said Matthew was being held by that guy in A Sacrificial Escape. I was worried that it was a fake mystery, and I was right. The mystery was to reunite Matthew and Emily. Before the, I guess it was an Imagination Station adventure ended, it was revealed that it was a fake mystery, and I was like, no no nonononononononononon no no please no. Then I got so confused when Emily said end adventure, and talked about how the mystery was strange. Also Lee, from AIO Audio News, if you’re reading this, then was this the mystery that was stated in the description of that album? The fake mystery? Any ways, I was so confused at this point. Also, wasn’t the scene where Morrie said he was good with numbers in the program? Maybe he put that there to lead Emily to connect him with the voice while the Chairman will be doing those evil deeds?!? OK, I’m going on speculations now. After the adventure ended, it showed the source of the adventure. When I heard about it, my first thoughts were on Novacom. And then came the scene with Morrie and Suzu! This did nothing to advance the plot! I feel this whole episode didn’t really advance the plot either! The Odyssey team could of made Mr. Whittaker change the audio and find it was Morrie to move the plot along! I’ve been waiting for this episode for a few months, and then it was put at the end of the album!!! And then it gave us this! If they put this episode as the first one, and then put a more substantial one at the end, I’d be a lot happier. But alas, this episode didn’t live up to my expectations. You can be sure of more speculations coming up. How did you like the episode? I got to go listen to it again and make more speculations

Signed, disappointed

One more day…

One more day until Further From the Truth is released! The Chairman is the boss behind Morrie. I’m calling it right now. Shout out to Marisa for making me believe this theory even more. She posted a comment on AIO Audio News, (which you should check out) saying that Ignoratio Elenchi also means red herring, which is a title of a Novacom episode, which ties in with the Chairman! Red Herring also played some part in the saga. Maybe something to do with AREM? I forgot. And also, I agree with Lee (The founder of AIO Audio News), about Garrett’s comment saying that he thinks the next few albums will be filled with fake mysteries. I really hope that doesn’t happen. I just hopes this episode lives up to my expectations, unlike Emily not living up to Morrie’s expectations. I feel like FFTT will be another episode with a parental warning. Anyways, tomorrow is the big day! You can be sure I’m reviewing it soon. What are you’re speculations? I’d love to hear them in the comments!

Signed, a hyped guy

Information Speculation (hey, that rhyms!)

In some of my recent posts I’ve shown some new information I’ve gotten from Bob Hoose and Nathan Hoobler. So you might be asking, “what’s this post for then?” Well, in this post I’ll put all the information in simple form, and then speculate! (On some).

  • Morrie will appear in “Further From the Truth” Awesome! I’m glad that they’re not waiting another album until he appears again. The title says “Further From the Truth,” so I’m wondering, is Morrie going to start to lie, and lead the people of Odyssey to trust him?
  • “The Morning Star” will be released in 2019. I’m guessing that this will be a Christmas episode.
  • “Breaking News” will be released in 2020.
  • The 900th episode will probably be recorded in January of the schedule goes as planned.
  • “Further From the Truth” follows the episode “A Sacrificial Escape”
  • Bob Hoose said this. if I were sitting down with a real live Morrie to, say, break a bit of bread, and I brought up the Latin phrase “Ignoratio Elenchi,” he would know my meaning. He might even smile, before diving back into his soup. Yikes. What speculations do you guys have about it?
  • The last episode of album 68 will record in July.
  • Four episodes have been recorded so far as of today (I think?).
  • There will be an episode with the word “Wise” in it. I’m thinking it might have to do with Penny because (a) past episode(s) with her had that word in it.

What are your speculations? “Ignoratio Elenchi” is curious, don’t you think?

well, that’s all for now.

Peace out 💥💥💥

More Information Again!

So, I emailed Bob Hoose and got some imformation, but the last part is the main point of interest. Here’s what he said. (Oh, and by the way, the words that are italicized are my words, not Bob’s).

I’d be happy to answer some of your pressing questions. The operating word being … some. 😉

First of all, yep, Morrie will be in Album 68 and will appear in the episode “Further from the Truth.”

Secondly, “The Morning Star” will release in 2019. “Breaking News” will be in 2020. And if our schedule continues as planned, we’ll likely record episode #900 in January.

“Can you give us any more information about Further From the Truth?”  Uh, I can say that this episode doesn’t release until early next year. And of course, I don’t want to spoil anything, but it is fair to say that it follows the episode “A Sacrificial Escape.”

OK. Now here’s the interesting part.

How does it follow? How does it involve Morrie? Does it connect Morrie in any way to any thing? And for that matter, can I give you any more “hints” about Morrie?

Well, those questions are quite another kettle of fish, aren’t they? How about if I say this, if I were sitting down with a real live Morrie to, say, break a bit of bread, and I brought up the Latin phrase “Ignoratio Elenchi,” he would know my meaning. He might even smile, before diving back into his soup.

That’s as much as I’ll say.

OK, now here’s my thoughts.

Wow. OK, let’s try to understand that more. “Ignoratio Elenchi” means irrelevant conclusion within an argument. So what could this mean? What do y’all think? Tell me in the comments down below, and meanwhile, I’ll be trying to decipher it myself.

Peace out ✌
